Donald Grieb - 1908 Bonniwell Rd, Mequon

Built for James Tiedjen - owner of Music Isle Record Company and later Milwaukee Tape Distributors (located at 5401 West State Street, Milwaukee)
Front door features commercial Schlage door hardware that is more commonly used by architect William Wenzler. This house is one of three MCM residential barrel vaulted roofs in the MKE area. 

Built in 1967. Expansive house with first floor entertaining space with outdoor pool. Creative spiral staircase circling decorative collection of light fixtures leads to bedrooms and laundry on the second floor. The garage located on the south side contains the original structure found on the property--a small hunting shack--that Grieb converted into guest quarters.

Jordan Miller Architect

Jordan Miller, AIA. (xx-xx-xxx - 06-05-2009) Milwaukee Based Firm: Miller Meier Kenyon Cooper Architects and Engineers Inc. Wife: J. Donna Miller Key Buildings: The Miller, Maier firm won one of the biggest federal projects in 1960s Milwaukee, building the $24.5 million Downtown post office. His firm built the Mitchell International Airport terminal, the UW-Milwaukee Golda Meir Library addition, the Milwaukee County Mental Health Complex, the Milwaukee Area Technical College Student Center, JC Penney Catalog Centers in Milwaukee and Atlanta, Broward County Main Library in Ft Lauderdale, and many other buildings. Notes: In the 1980's, Miler Meier reported annual revenue of $2 million and employing 60 people. The firm had an office in Milwaukee and Ft Lauderdale, FL.
